Software description
The Previdia/STUDIO software allows the commissioning and adjustment of the operating parameters of each individual element of the Previdia system and the definition of the activation logics.
The use of the software is reserved for technical personnel competent in the configuration and maintenance of automatic fire detection and alarm systems and appropriately trained in the use of the equipment produced by Inim Electronics.
Capable of operating both at individual control panel and network level, Previdia/STUDIO uses a graphic interface designed for use with any device.
The Previdia/STUDIO software is capable of connecting to the system via RS232, USB, TCP/IP or Cloud connection, runs in Windows operating systems and can be downloaded free of charge by logging in and registering on website www.inim.it.
Functions
The software is completed with diagnostic functions that allow accurate fault searches and the adjustment of the various intervention thresholds.
There are also reporting functions which allow, starting from the data automatically collected by the control panel, the creation of complete reports in compliance with current legislation.
The software also provides system monitoring functions that allow real-time viewing of the statuses of the loop devices, zones and timers, etc.
Commands
The operator interacts with the system in real time: it will be possible to check the status of the inputs, activate the outputs, carry out device bypass or activation operations, etc.
All of this is achieved through the command functions. These functions allow the operator to work on the monitored systems via map icons which represent the system objects, or by means of preset buttons defined during the configuration phase.
Solutions
Each solution is made up of an installation structure and the respective programming parameters.
Each solution is dedicated to a system with its own programming interface.
A solution can be created or changed even without being connected to the apparatus. For example, it is possible to set the parameters of apparatus and subsequently, once on the system has been reached, to write the solution on the apparatus and test its validity.
Database
The Previdia/STUDIO software allows you to create and manage a database containing the programming data, maintenance details and events history of all the installed systems.
Each new solution can be saved for future maintenance purposes. The software has its own database that allows you to retrieve stored solutions and import external solutions and therefore allows you to transfer files from one computer to another.
